Legislative Election 2009: Election Best Damn!

20 April 2009

No exaggeration to say that the 2009 legislative elections is the biggest jerk election. To jerk it stems from the voters list (DPT) is a jerk. Then grew into a super jerk brengse k because it is not clear who is responsible for the DPT creep. Who is guilty? The government does not want to be blamed alone. The government also appointed Electoral Commission, political parties, even people who have the right to vote is culpable. (Excerpt from Editorial Media Indonesia entitled "Throw Responsibility", issue of Friday 17 April 2009).

Reading the Media Indonesia editorial Friday edition of this, surely the reader will soon give different responses in particular about the word bitch, I deliberately bold letters as I will discuss that word is and how bad the results of calculation of the national tabulation center will be closed today .

Interestingly, the issue of editorial, the word fuck repeated up to 9 times, for details, please read the Media Indonesia editorail Friday edition, or can be read in their online version , said the editorial dominating jerk: jerk, jerk, jerk, jerk, jerk , jerk, jerk, jerk, jerk.

My own are included in the line of super cool in maki-curse (that is, I do not like / like a curse, but not anti / hate people who swear too, it was their right) felt the words were not fair and makes my ears a bit hot hear it.

After a sigh for a moment, and see the reality that there I decided it was appropriate given the word correctly on the election results of 2009. The more so after we saw together, today April 20, 2009 the national tabulation center will be closed according to the foregoing, unless there is an extension of time.

After days of waiting and will be closed today, what were the results? Jerk! New as of 12,938,889 of the total 171.2 million voters. The number of newly entering polling stations of a total of 59 thousand 66 947 polling stations (data taken from TNP KPU: 20-04-2009 11:30:16).

The logic or calculations like this:

  • Let's just say the calculation starts from April 10, 2009
  • Today is April 20
  • Means there is 10 days, 10: 12,938,889 = 1293888.9 (description: 10 = number of days, 12,938,889 = total counted, 1293888.9 = average count per day, kayaks version quick count wrote he he he)
  • So, on average only 1293888.9 / day
  • 1293888.9: 100,071,200 = 77.35 (*)

* Description: 1293888.9 = number of daily count, 100 071 200 = total number of voters, 77.35 = total days.

Thus, the calculation of the national tabulation will be completed within 77 days, over 2 months! This rough calculation does, can quickly (I hope) but may also be more than the calculation above, the Commission server wong really slow.

So who is most responsible for this fretfulness all? The law let the answer.

Article 32 of Law Number 10 Year 2008 regarding the legislative elections: that the government and local governments provide population data. Population data were submitted to the Commission 12 months before the date of voting

Law Number 22 Year 2007 regarding General Election Organizers, article 39 paragraph (1) letter b: in terms of implementation of all phases of the elections and other duties the Commission to report to the Parliament and the president

So if under the Act, the government and the Election Commission is most responsible. Unfortunately, a thousand dear government and the Commission seem to blame society, the report Elections Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) who intends to bring an action against the Commission immediately rejected by the police for reasons not yet enough evidence, but according to existing legislation Banwaslu not allowed to access the requested evidence to the police, the trouble deh ... ... ..

Well we must look to the future of this nation, the future population data collection must be addressed and there should be no more mistakes, mistakes that resulted in the loss of the right of a citizen as a result of data collection-related personnel should be rewarded with a penalty as severe criminal penalties even for a chance to channel the right vote / choose is the right of every citizen. In short, all citizens must be registered as voters. Regardless whether the registered citizens did not use their right to vote or to use their voting rights, it is a matter in question (this quote from my previous , April 9, 2009)

Hopefully the 2009 election was not a jerk-jerk so and continue to be addressed, hopefully!
